In loving memory...

FredFred Ryecroft 1925 - 2000

Died at home in his sleep April 25, 2000 due to heart failure. His passing came just days before he would have celebrated his 75th birthday.

Fred was a thoughtful man and loving father. A Veteran of W.W.II, he enlisted into the army at the age of seventeen. An interesting conversationalist, Fred ran his own market business when health reasons forced his early retirement from Britain's electricity board.

Services were held in his hometown of Stockport, where he lived in the shadows of the greater Manchester metro area. Despite his poor health, in 1996 he made the trek to Glasgow, Scotland by rail to witness the union of Cath & Kerry. His wry sense of humor and delicious curry will always be missed.

Anton "TK" Kelekovich 1931 - 2001

After an eight year battle, TK (as he was known to friends and family) died May 22nd at age 70, at home from a heart attack due to complications from cancer. An Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and an avid motorcyclist, Tony lived well past the survival windows for the lung and subsequent brain tumor that tragically ended his retirement-years after a measly two week tenure. He was well known for his work as an HVAC specialist, operating TK Heating for 16 years after moving from Chicago to the northwoods of Wisconsin.

Services were held in Hayward, Wisconsin and he was laid to rest May 26th in his beloved, adopted-hometown of Couderay. As commander of American Legion Post No. 297, he received a military burial in Evergreen Cemetery of Couderay.

His wit and big heart will be missed but his spirit lives on.

Although Fred and TK never met due to the travel restrictions their health problems imposed, they shared a great love for the music of Ray Price and the westerns of John Wayne.
